Tourist Spots In South Cotabato Philippines - Lake Sebu

Lake Sebu is about 30 kilometers from our town - Sto. Nino.

Lake Sebu is one of the towns in South Cotabato and is located on the mountainous area and has its virgin forests. I have been in this place many times.

The lake bears its name "Lake", the lake produces the first class Telapia fish that supports the surrounded towns of South Cotabato, Sarangani Province and even in some towns of Sultan Kudarat and North Cotabato.

Lake Sebu is one of the many bodies of water. Watersheds has been recognized by the Philippine government as one of the important part in the country. The lake is located from the Barangay Poblacion of Lake Sebu and surrounded by other barangays.

This place is known as one of the tourist spots in South Cotabato with Resorts, Hotels and boating on the lake.

Those from other areas in the Philippines planing to come to Lakes Sebu, the nearest airport is in General Santos City. If you arrived in the airport of General Santos City, then if you will hire a taxi or rent a car going to Lake Cebu, you are going to pass by in Polomolok, Tupi, Koronadal City, Banga, Surallah and then, to your destination.

As the Lake Sebu Part in South Cotabato, there is no problem in security. South Cotabato is a peaceful place populated by mostly Hilongo people in the northern part and Cebuano in the southern part, particularly in Polomolok and General Santos City. There are only few Ilocanos and Muslims in some part of the province and on the mountainous area are the T'boli tribe particularly in Lake Sebu and in the town of T'boli.
