The Boracay Beach Resort Is One Of The Visited Tourist Spots In The Philippines

The Boracay Beach Resort is at the center of Boracay Island, Aklan, Philippines. Boracay Island is located in the Visayas region, the heart of the Philippine archipelago.

The Resort is one of the World's Best Beaches since it has been recognized by the international community in 1980's.

The main tourist attraction is eight-kilometer stretch of powder-white sand called White Beach, and it has been praised by the Travel Magazines.

Boracay is a small island in the Philippines located approximately 315 km (196 mi) south of Manila and 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. Boracay Island and its beaches have received awards from numerous travel publications and agencies. The island comprises the barangays of Manoc-Manoc, Balabag, and Yapak in the municipality of Malay, in Aklan Province. The island is administered by the Philippine Tourism Authority and the provincial government of Aklan. Apart from its white sand beaches, Boracay is also famous for being one of the world's top destinations for relaxation. It is also emerging among the top destinations for tranquility and nightlife.

You can reach the place via airplane for approximately 50-minute flight from Manila to the town of Caticlan Airport on Panay Island. From Cebu City, flying time is also about 50 minutes, followed by a ten-minute pump boat ride to the beach itself, where you'll be dropped directly on White Beach Port.

The island is located at the font of the Barangay of Caticlan in the municipality of Malay, Aklan.

Boracay is served by two airports in Aklan: the Kalibo International Airport and Godofredo P. Ramos Airport, commonly referred to as the Caticlan Airport.

Bus companies operate provincial routes from Manila going to Caticlan via the SRNH. Also the 2GO, the largest ferry company in the Philippines, offers regular overnight passenger and cargo service from Batangas City to Caticlan.

The two main modes of transport in Boracay Island are via motor-tricycles (Pedicabs) and tricycles driven by bicycles (known as sikad passengers) along the main road or you will walk along the beaches.

You can also rent them like the Pedicabs, known as sikads, mountain bikes, quadbikes and motorbikes that you can use along the beaches.
