The lake bears its name "Lake", the lake produces the first class Telapia fish that supports the surrounded towns of South Cotabato, Sarangani Province and even in some towns of Sultan Kudarat and North Cotabato.

Lake Sebu is one of the many bodies of water. Watersheds has been recognized by the Philippine government as one of the important part in the country. The lake is located from the Barangay Poblacion of Lake Sebu and surrounded by other barangays.

This place is known as one of the tourist spots in South Cotabato with Resorts, Hotels and boating on the lake.

Those from other areas in the Philippines planing to come to Lakes Sebu, the nearest airport is in General Santos City. If you arrived in the airport of General Santos City, then if you will hire a taxi or rent a car going to Lake Cebu, you are going to pass by in Polomolok, Tupi, Koronadal City, Banga, Surallah and then, to your destination.

As the Lake Sebu Part in South Cotabato, there is no problem in security. South Cotabato is a peaceful place populated by mostly Hilongo people in the northern part and Cebuano in the southern part, particularly in Polomolok and General Santos City. There are only few Ilocanos and Muslims in some part of the province and on the mountainous area are the T'boli tribe particularly in Lake Sebu and in the town of T'boli.

Chocolate Hills - One of the Top 38 Tourist Attractions in the Philippines

The Philippines!

The country of the Philippines comprises of 7,107 islands, of which only about 2,000 are inhabited. It has three major island groups as Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The Philippines is located in the South-East Asia at the South China Sea in the eastern edge of Asia.

There are many beautiful Tourist Spots and wonderful beaches in the Philippines. One of these is the Chocolate Hills in Bohol.

CHOCOLATE HILLS

The Chocolate Hills are located in Bohol Province, Philippines.
Wikipedia says:

"There are at least 1,260 hills but there may be as many as 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres (20 sq mi). They are covered in green grass that turns brown (like chocolate) during the dry season, hence the name.

The Chocolate Hills are a famous tourist attraction of Bohol. They are featured in the provincial flag and seal to symbolize the abundance of natural attractions in the province. They are in the Philippine Tourism Authority's list of tourist destinations in the Philippines; they have been declared the country's third National Geological Monument and proposed for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List."

These hills are separated by well developed flat plains and contain numerous caves and springs. The Chocolate Hills are considered to be a remarkable example of conical karst topography.

The origin for the conical karst of the Chocolate Hills is described in popular terms on the bronze plaque at the viewing deck in Carmen, Bohol. This plaque states that they are eroded formations of a type of marine limestone that sits on top of hardened clay. The plaque reads:

The unique land form known as the Chocolate Hills of Bohol was formed ages ago by the uplift of coral deposits and the action of rain water and erosion.

The unique land form known as the Chocolate Hills of Bohol was formed ages ago by the uplift of coral deposits and the action of rain water and erosion.

The breaking down of the upper layers of the limestone formations, followed by the erosion processes, resulted in these remnants in the shape of cones. It is likely that they were once limestone deposits beneath the sea, uplifted by the movement of plates and then smoothed by wind and rainwater erosion.

The Chocolate Hills are conical karst hills similar to those seen in the limestone regions of Slovenia and Croatia, only that the Chocolate Hills have no caves.

From Asian Countries To Throughout The World

In today's world, it's the greatest opportunities to travel with the cheapest fares around the Globe.

My first flight was in the year 2006 at age of 39.

That was from Cotabato City to Manila back and forth. In the early days of my life, it was very difficult for the people to travel around the country because of the highest fares, as we know that only the wealthy people could afford to buy tickets for airplanes.

The middle class could only have to travel by ships in the country. In those days ships were available from the south to the north in the Philippines.

Today, the middle class young ones could have already experienced flights. When the Cebu Pacific launched, flight domestically become affordable.

Thanks to this company! Before the launching of the Cebu Pacific, the fares in airplane travel was so very high. The reason the administrator of the early airline company become more richer.
